Emberfall Saga
Emberfall Saga is the sort of RPG you sink hours into without noticing. You gather a party, learn a genuinely deep skill system, and fight turn-based battles that reward reading enemy patterns instead of just tapping the strongest move. The writing is a cut above most mobile RPGs, with characters who actually change over the story.
The touch controls are clean. Menus are laid out for thumbs, combat lets you queue moves and undo before you confirm, and there's an auto-battle for the grindy bits. It respects your time in a way a lot of the genre doesn't.
Battery is the one warning: with graphics maxed it's a heavy game, and my phone warmed up during long dungeon runs. Turning down the shadow quality in the settings helped a lot and I barely noticed the difference.
