How to pick a mobile genre that fits your life
The best mobile game for you depends less on quality and more on when you actually play. A deep RPG is wonderful, but if your sessions are three minutes long it'll only frustrate you.
For scattered short breaks, casual and puzzle games win. You can stop mid-thought and lose nothing. For a fixed commute, adventures and card games fit nicely into a twenty-minute window.
If you get genuine sit-down time, that's when strategy games and RPGs pay off. They need room to breathe and a bit of focus, and cramming them into a bus stop wait just wastes them.
I keep a couple of games from different genres installed for exactly this reason. Short wait, tap something casual. Long evening, dig into the RPG. Matching the game to the moment is half the enjoyment.
